Steve is spending his time these days writing and doing Zoom interviews. His years as a pastor, counselor, business consultant, grad school professor, mentor/coach, global missionary and now an author, gives him many life experiences and different perspectives to draw on.
He is in his ‘sweet spot’ when he has the opportunity to interview and write other people’s stories. When he is granted permission, expect to see more articles and short stories post on this website.
Grief, men, spiritual development, life stages and crossroads are just a few of the topics Steve enjoys sharing.
Oh yes, there is one more, his life long goal of Mentoring!

"Never alone is a great book for all men seeking a better understanding of their purpose in life. While the main focus is about processing grief I found that Dr. Steve Bagley addressed some real challenges that all men face - being loved and how to love well. I learned more about a general understanding about how this life works through his reflection on his ups and downs in his marriage and the ultimate loss of his wife, his one true love. There are real opportunities for all men to explore deeper emotions and why we do what we do. I think this is a great book for all men to help with that personal exploration."

"I started reading this book expecting it to be a "how to work through grief" guide. And it has that. But more than that, this book is about how to live life - an intimate journey through personal lives of the author and his wife. They both experienced significant trauma in their childhood and together learned to overcome and even utilize their pasts to catalyze their growth and impact. Reading how they helped one another overcome their struggles and how they grew amazingly close during their 3+ decades together made reading about the author's experience losing his wife so much more personal and deep. I came away feeling like I had been on a journey of struggle, triumph, loss and hope. It's a great read for anyone, not just those experiencing grief."
